Robert McKenzie, age 82, of Spruce Pine, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 21st, 2023 at The Greens at Spruce Pine. A native of Havelock, Ontario, Canada, he was a son of the late Frederick and Alma Hagerman McKenzie. He was preceded in death as well by his brothers, Donald and David McKenzie.
Surviving is his loving wife, Madeline Parker McKenzie; two daughters: Barbie Hollifield and husband, Mark, of Bakersville, and Jane Bennett and husband, Jose´, of Dalzell, SC; two grandchildren: Jessica Wustrow and husband, Killian, of Spruce Pine and Ben Ryan Hollifield and wife, Hailey, of Newland; one great-grandson, Kieran Wustrow of Spruce Pine; and special friend and caregiver, Heather Hawkins.
No services are planned at this time.
