Gary Stephen Arnold, Jr. “Steve” age 52 of Hamburg Road in Bakersville passed away Saturday December 30, 2023, at the Blue Ridge Regional Hospital in Spruce Pine. Born in Suffolk, Virgina he was a son of the late Gary, Sr. and Edith Pritchard Arnold.
Steve worked as a Flight Medic for UNC for several years and was a veteran of the US Army, he enjoyed building on his truck, racing and shooting guns and he loved his animals especially his dog Paddles.
Left to cherish his memories is his sons, Christopher and Judd Arnold and a daughter, Peyton Arnold, special friend Amber Mennig and a host of other friends.
A memorial service will be Friday January 5, 2024, at 6:00 pm in the Chapel of Webb Funeral Home, friends will gather one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
