Never once in all of history have the people banning and burning books been the good guys. Never in history have the people taking rights away from women and other marginalized groups been the good guys. Never once have the people demanding to know what goes on in your bedroom or telling you who to worship been the good guys. The conservative right is taking freedoms from marginalized groups at an alarming pace. They are taking food from schoolchildren, books from libraries, healthcare from veterans. Wake up, folks. They aren’t the good guys. And when they are done getting rid of queer rights, woman’s rights and religious freedom. Once they’ve purged the immigrants from our land. What’s to stop them from coming after you? If you don’t toe the line, you’ll be next. Don’t think that voting for them will be any protection. Dictators are paranoid by nature and purge anyone they distrust. And they distrust everyone. WE ALL STAND TOGETHER OR WE ALL GO DOWN TOGETHER.
