Selfish? That sounds both incredibly unrealistic AND selfish to me. A kid has to be “athletically gifted” and get a scholarship to college in a broken k-12, college and pro athletic system in order to get an education and have a career? That’s not just selfish, it’s cruel. …and we’re doing it to our own kids. Sheesh.
