Not so strangely I am reminded of the oh so grand saviors who think they need to save other white people by making sure they think Black or LGBTQ people and anyone who has no problem with them are the source of all the problems in the world. Do people really think 1. White people who don’t fall for your shtick need you to save them? 2. Straight people need you to save them from then”liberal allies”? I don’t think it’s narcissism, though it is the epitome of a certain kind of cynical elitism to think people other than you are so stupid they will all fall for this ugliness. Look, I’ve got white sheets in my house, but they’re all on my bed where I sleep very well at night.
