As a citizen of the United States of America I get to be involved in the conversation about flying a flag that represented a group who tried to set up another government in the part of the country my ancestors called home, then tried to use that flag to pretend all of us were all right with that. That has nothing to do with being “offended.” That’s just the way it works. No offense, just like I am not offended by the stars and bars on someone else’s property. Saves time. I know not to waste my time engaging those folks. I repeat, being offended has nothing to do with it. I know a lot of what my conservative friends call snowflakes who think it does. Apparently snowflakes are not confined to the left and bad weather.
