While the banana republic comment is way off base, the one choice issue is real, of course. But it’s not just the Democrats who have it bad. All us poor Independents have the Democrat, all those Republicans, and the guys who have labeled themselves No Labels all posing as choices and still there’s not a decent choice in the lot. Not laughing about it, though. It’s seriously disturbing to consider the long term possibilities. You’d think the Republicans at least would have better sense. The way they screwed up the last two elections didn’t teach them anything at all, I guess.
