Tonya Jones Elnaggar, age 54, of Newdale, went Home to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 27th, 2024. She was born in Asheville to Barbara Jones Elnaggar.
Tonya was an R.N. for many years. She loved the job and was always wanting to help anyone she could.
Tonya was loved by many people and will be terribly missed.
She is survived by her loving husband, Ramy Elnaggar, and two beautiful children, Dakota and Makenna Adkins, all whom she loved very much. She also leaves behind her wonderful mother and second stepfather, Barbara Jones Elnaggar and Mito Elnaggar of Micaville. She always wanted to be just like her mom whom she depended on her whole life. She also leaves behind her wonderful stepfather, Terry Landress and his late wife, Louise, of Newdale. She had one little brother, as she called him, Scott Jones and wife, Amy, who she thought could do anything in the world. She had two nephews, Cason and Jayden Jones, that she was very proud of and loved very much.
She also leaves behind her little dog, Gizmo.
She had many aunts, uncles and cousins with which she had great memories and loved as well.
Funeral services to celebrate her life will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, February 5th in the chapel of Yancey Funeral Services with Kevin Huskins officiating. Burial will follow in Bowditch Community Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12 noon until 1 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to Yancey Funeral Services to help with funeral expenses.
