While I watched the riot and attempted insurrection of Jan 6 as it happened, I too was horrified. My poor mother was on her knees praying. I don’t believe everyone involved was attempting to overthrow the government. I saw a mob getting caught up in the moment with those who were there to do it and those trying to intimidate elected officials into complying with their corrupt wishes. There is no evidence that they were encouraged to enter the capital by the shadowy figure people in this forum cite either because they have fallen for this insanity or because they are spreading it with ill intention. I have no way of know which.
