The right wing fear-mongering, misinformation and lack of empathy for anyone who isn’t straight, white, male and Christian is out of control. Rights are being stripped away from women and trans persons all over. Books being banned. People being ripped off left and right by pastors and politicians alike. Sexual assaults of children in churches being covered up. Abortion rights gone in 21 states, most with no exceptions for rape or incest. Women and girls forced to give birth at the risk of their own lives. When does it stop? You worry about a drag queen reading a book to your child when what you need to fear is the preacher raping your kid who then has to carry his baby to term. You fear the imaginary when the real thing is far more horrifying. You jump at imaginary boogey men while your leaders strip your freedoms, take your money and abuse your kids.
