Unfortunately, at least locally, there not have been any consequences or costs, with or without interest, for destroying the lives of others or for limiting the opportunities available to others with lies or other shady or hidden means for so long that the folks doing it seem to believe it’s “the way it works,” “the way it’s done.” They don’t believe they’ll ever be stopped and continue with impunity. People have to speak up if they want it to stop not try to throw the people exposing these things under the bus or let others do it.
