Mollie Yvonne Hicks, age 74, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, April 15th, 2024 at Watauga Medical Center.
A native of Elk Park, she was a daughter of the late Stewart and Lloyd Bare Hicks. She was also preceded in death by sisters: Louise Laws and Joann Vance and brothers: Larry Dale Hicks, Joe, Herman and Leslie Hagie.
She enjoyed attending services and going on trips with her church, Cranberry Baptist Church, where she was a member. Mollie had many dear friends at church and at the Elk Park School Apartments where she lived. She loved cooking and being a part of all the social activities.
Surviving is her son, Ford Jones, Jr. and wife, Cammy Jones, of Roaring Creek; granddaughter, Jessi Jones (Sammy) of Roaring Creek; special great-grandson, Logan Ollis and a brother, Hal Hagie (Marie) of Elk Park.
No services are planned at this time.
