Bettie Joe Robinson, age 75, of Burnsville, went home to be with the Lord on Valentine’s Day, Sunday, February 14th, 2021 at Mission Hospital.
A native of Yancey County, she was a daughter of the late Carter and Dora Phillips Bradford. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Ellen ; brothers: Fred Bradford and C.B. Phillips and her beloved nephew, Carlton Robinson who passed away in 1993.
Betty drove a school bus for Yancey County Schools for a number of years. She loved and supported the Yancey County Humane Society.
Surviving is her loving daughter, Heather Robinson of the home; her “daughters of the heart”: Pam Lyda of Hendersonville, Annette Jones of Burnsville and Lucy Lewis of Marion; “sisters of the heart”: Earlena Hughes of Burnsville and Lorie Bohn of Summerfield, FL and her fur babies: Gaylah and Tosha.
No services are planned at this time.
