Louise Wyatt Robinson, age 87, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, June 18, 2021, surrounded by her loving family.
A native of Yancey County, she was the daughter of the late Arvle and Belvie Wilson Wyatt. She was also preceded in death by sisters: Kathleen Thompson, Jeanette McMahan and infant brother Joel Wyatt.
Louise was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She was a prayer warrior and faithful servant to the Lord. She was a wonderful cook who enjoyed singing, gardening, tending to her flowers and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 63 years, Rev. Paul Robinson, son; Randy Robinson (Sandra) of Lafayette GA; daughters: Diane Edwards (Alden) of Burnsville, and Anita Peterson (Bryan) of Burnsville; grandchildren: Benjamin, Emily, Matthew and Jessica: great grandchildren: Parker, Jake, Bella, Wilder, Ella; and a sister: Alice Powers (Frank) of Burnsville. Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
A celebration of life service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 22, 2021, in the Chapel of Yancey Funeral Service. Rev. Billy Mitchell will officiate. The family will receive friends from 12:00-1:00 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will follow in the Morning Star Baptist Church cemetery.
