Carroll Dean Greene, age 82, of Estatoe Acres in Spruce Pine, passed away on Monday, August 23, 2021 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
A native of Mitchell County he was a son of the late Clarence and Willie Lavada Woody Greene. He was a family man and loved his children and grandchildren and loved going to family reunions. He was preceded in death by his brothers Bobby, Buster, Ralph, Speedy and Jack Greene and a sister Virginia Vance.
Left to cherish his memory is his daughters, Cherrie Patrick and Jackie Love both of Spruce Pine and Karen West of Bakersville. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
A private Celebration of Life will be held by the family at a later date.
