Light to moderate snow accumulations are possible Friday afternoon into early Saturday, especially across the higher elevations.
After a dry morning, a quick transition from scattered rain showers to scattered snow showers should happen around midday. Snow showers continue through the afternoon into the overnight hours. Snow should end for most areas before sunrise Saturday.
Up to a dusting is possible south of I-40. Elevations below 3,500′ along and north of I-40 should see a dusting up to an inch. Above 3,500′ and near the state line will see the highest totals, 3 to 6″ inches with higher totals possible.
