Howard Williams, age 84, of Burnsville went home to be with the Lord on February 5th, 2022, in Burnsville, NC. He was the son of the late Archie Williams and Rosie Bailey. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his loving wife, Verna Lee Williams in 2007; a daughter, Nadine Joy Williams; and a sister, Betty Stryken.
Left to cherish his memory is a son, Larry Dean Williams; grandsons: Jamie Ayers and wife April, Randell Charles Carroll, Robert Carroll, Raymond Ayers, and Michael Williams; granddaughters: Melinda Carroll, Santana Carroll, Karen Williams, and Krystal Williams; and several great grandchildren.
Howard worked at Proffett Store and did small engine repair work.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 7th, 2022 at 2 p.m. at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. The family will receive friends and loved ones an hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in the cemetery of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. Reverends Jerry Shelton and Tim Hylemon will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Holcombe Brothers Funeral Home to assist the family and help with funeral expenses.
