Frederick Lawrence Moore, II, age 86, of Burnsville, passed away on Wednesday, February 16th, 2022 at Yancey House. A native of Windsor, Canada, he was a son of the late Frederick Ernest and Albertine Larsh Moore. He was owner and operator of the Fred’s Standard Gas Station in St. Petersburg, FL, a realtor in Yancey County and worked at Yancey Builders Supply. He enjoyed woodworking and fishing.
Surviving is his loving wife of 66 years, Margaret Armstrong Moore; daughter, Michelle Wilson and husband, Dwight, of Live Oak, FL; son, Frederick Moore, III and wife, Pam, of Mars Hill; grandson, Steven Wilson of Center Point, TX; brother, Lawrence Moore and wife, Kathy, of Lutz, FL and a brother-in-law, David Armstrong and wife, Anne, of Zephyrhills, FL. Several cousins and friends also survive.
