Dr. William Paul ‘Bill’ Baker

Dr. William Paul “Bill” Baker, age 52, passed away Monday May 9, 2022, at his residence on Whitson Branch Road in the Green Mountain community of North Carolina.

Born in Venango County, Pennsylvania, he was the son of Ray L. and Paula Lou Brown Baker of Grove City, PA. Bill was a Vice President of Business Technology in the banking industry, received his doctorate degree in Business Administration from California Pacific University, and was a veteran of the US Army in the 82nd Airborne. He was a 32nd degree Mason with the Denver Masonic Lodge #757 AF & AM, and a member of the Scottish Rite, Oasis Shriners, and the Lake Norman Shrine Club. Bill was an official member of the American Legion. He was a member of the Green Mountain Presbyterian Church and attended Shoal Creek Baptist Church. Bill enjoyed being a Ham radio operator, hiking, deer hunting, and he loved to read.

In addition to his parents, he leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife Stacy Frady Baker of the home; daughters, Payton Madison Baker of Denver, NC and Abigail Charlotte Denny of the home; a son, Austin Denver Denny of the home; and a sister, Angie Baker of PA.

A time to support the family, share memories, and receive friends will be Friday, May 20, 2022, from 5:30 pm until 6:30 pm in the chapel of Webb Funeral Home. The memorial service will follow at 6:30 pm with the Rev. Merritt Taylor officiating. Military honors will be provided by the Sgt. EL Randolph Chapter 57 of the Disabled American Veterans, and Masonic Rites will be provided by Denver Lodge #757.
