Mary Parker, age 96, of Warren Street in Shelby, passed away Friday, September 30, 2022 at the Greens of Spruce Pine.
Born on January 21, 1926 in Caldwell County, she was the daughter of the late James and Fannie Dula Triplett. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Beauford Parker who passed away in 2000.
Mary was a member of the Clarks Chapel Baptist Church in Lenoir. She enjoyed spending time with her family as well as visiting her friends and spending time with them. She also enjoyed traveling.
Left to cherish her memory is her sons; Douglas Hoyle; Kenneth Hoyle and wife, Tammy and Keith Parker and wife, Keila eleven grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren; several nieces’ nephews and close friends.
The family would like to extend a ‘Thank You’ to the staff of The Greens of Spruce Pine and Medi-Home Hospice for the exceptional care they provided to Mary.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to either; Medi-Home Hospice of Avery County or The Greens of Spruce Pine.
A memorial service will be planned and announced.
