Michael Dean Rose age 72, of Wilson Drive in Spruce Pine passed away Tuesday November 2, 2022, at his home.
Born in Mitchell County he was a son of the late James William Rose, Sr. and Hazel Wise Haschar. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Earl Wade Rose.
Dean attended First Freewill Baptist Church of Spruce Pine, he was a Master Carpenter and loved gardening, hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife Ellen Blake Rose of the home, four daughters, Misty Lee and husband Duane of Mebane, NC, Natasha Blake and husband David of Spruce Pine, Cindy Mahan and husband Chris of Spruce Pine and Allison Black and husband Bruce of Midland, NC a son, Michael Rose, Jr. and wife Leeann of Iva, SC, nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Also surviving is his brother, James William Rose, Jr. of Easley, SC, sister, Teresa Rose of Brandon, FL and a host of nieces and nephews.
A time to support the family, share memories and receive friends will be on Saturday, November 5, 2022, from 1:00 pm until 1:30 pm in the chapel of Webb Funeral Home. The memorial service will follow at 1:30 pm in the chapel with the Rev. Ralph Hedricks officiating.
The family would like to extend a great Thank You to Hospice of the Blue Ridge and nurse Ciji for the care provided to Dean.
