The North Carolina Department of Corrections is looking for an escaped inmate who is originally from Madison County. Johnny Porche escaped from the Davidson County Correctional Institution early Monday morning. Porche was serving a 41-month sentence for felony breaking and entering and a probation violation. Authorities say Porche scaled a fence at the facility and ran away at approximately 1:15 a.m. Porche is a 46-year-old white male. He was last seen wearing white kitchen pants, a green shirt jacket, grey t-shirt and one white New Balance high-top tennis shoe.
