Whitley Danielson Owensby 29 years old, of Bakersville, NC was arrested on 05-10-2024. Owensby was arrested for Felony Larceny of Motor Vehicle, Misdemeanor Failure to Return Rental Property Issued out of Yancey County. Owensby was also served with Felony Warrants Issued out of South Carolina, Felony Possession of Firearm by a Convicted Felon, Felony Obtain Property by False Pretense, and Misdemeanor Possession of Stolen Goods issued out of Mitchell County. Stacey Leigh Weaver 52 years old, of Burnsville, NC was arrested on 05-14-2024. Weaver was charged with Felony Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliverer Schedule II Controlled Substance, Felony Possession of Methamphetamine, Felony Maintain Vehicle Dwell Place with A Controlled Substance and Misdemeanor Drug Paraphernalia. Weaver was issued a $25,000.00 bond.
