In accordance with the North Carolina Memorandum of Agreement (NC MOA), which governs the allocation, use, and reporting of the opioid settlement funds in North Carolina, Yancey County will host the annual opioid settlement meeting on June 20, 2024.
The purpose of this meeting is to foster collaboration and gather input from community leaders regarding the opioid crisis and the expenditure of opioid settlement funds.
Executive leaders, frontline workers, and all interested stakeholders are encouraged to attend. The public is invited to attend.
This meeting will be held on Thursday, June 20th, 2024 at 3:00PM in the Yancey County Commissioners Board Room located at 110 Town Square, Burnsville, NC 28714.
