Mars Hill University will host a Juneteenth Celebration of Freedom on Wednesday, June 19, 2024, from 5–5:30 p.m. The kid-friendly event, held in partnership with the Madison County Racial Justice Coalition, will take place at the Community Life Pavilion, located behind Broyhill Chapel, and will feature a reflection on independence and remembrance, music, children’s story, and snacks.
