Volunteer for Giving Garden; Harvest Tables and More Information

Generous and timely spring rains followed by the warmth and brightness of early summer are helping our gardens thrive!  We are still harvesting lettuce, chard, kale, collards, and fresh herbs.  The snap peas, onions, and fennel bulbs are on their way out.  We will start digging potatoes soon and the zucchinis, summer squash, beans, and tomatoes are starting to produce.

Our volunteer hours are shifting for the summer season!  During this time we water, harvest, and tend to seasonal tasks.  Please join us, the more the merrier.  We are grateful to see new faces!

2024 HARVEST TABLES

Our harvest table season is off to a great start.  Last Friday, we partnered with Buladean Community Center and distributed fresh food to more than 75 people!

Our next event is FRIDAY, June 28th at our gardens in Riverside Park, across from the baseball fields.  Please share our flyer and the details with friends and neighbors.  Our harvest table events are NO-COST walk-up markets where we distribute fresh local produce to the community.  Everyone is welcome!

We are looking for volunteers to help with all harvest table events this summer.
Set up starts at 4:00 pm, we are usually done around 7:00 pm.
Please email – info@mitchellgivinggardens.com
