Britt Kaufmann will launch her new book of poetry *Midlife Calculus* at the Carolina Mountains Literary Festival on September 6. The poems combine her love of poetry (as a former English teacher) with her experiences as a high school math tutor. See cmlitfest.net for a complete schedule of all author events. Kaufmann’s readings take place at 11 am in the Town Center on Friday 9/6 and at 2 pm in First Baptist Church on Saturday 9/7. Books will be available at the festival and at Plott Hound Books.
