Sarah Lauren Westall, age 36, of Burnsville, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, September 26th, 2024. A native of Yancey County, she was the daughter of Ralph Steven Westall and the late Frances Elizabeth Seals Westall. She was preceded in death as well by a brother, Loren Westall, and the father of her daughter, Dustin Allen.
Sarah loved nature and our rivers, swimming and doing things outdoors. She always had her dog tagging along with her. She was a kind, sweet person who loved her family and will be missed by all.
In addition to her father, she is survived by her daughter, Sparrow Westall of Burnsville; two brothers: Lance Westall of White Oak and Bobby James of Greenville, SC; grandmother-in-law, Janice Allen of Cane River; as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
