Danny Randolph, age 76, of the Burnsville community, went Home to be with the Lord and was reunited with his wife, Joyce on Friday, November 22nd 2024. Danny was a son to the late Roy and Zetta Peterson Randolph. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Louetta and a nephew, Randy McIntosh.
Danny was a deacon and Sunday school teacher at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. He liked to play sports, particularly horseshoes, softball, and basketball. Danny loved spending cherished time with his family and friends.
Surviving is his daughter, Denise Holcombe (Gary); grandchildren: Isaac Holcombe (Sarah Ann), Sarah M. Holcombe (Austin), Levi Holcombe, and Mary Grace Holcombe; great-grandchildren: Emily, Garrett, and Maisie; great-nieces and nephews: Scott McIntosh, Joseph McIntosh, and Ashley McIntosh; other special family members: Bill, Gordon, Ivan, Rebecca, Suzette and other extended family members also survive; along with his beloved cat, Ms. Girl.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, November 26th in the Chapel of Yancey Funeral Services. Pastor Tim Hylemon and Pastor Jerry Shelton will officiate. Graveside services will follow in the Cane River Baptist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. prior to the services.
Danny was very loved by the community and he will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Compassionate Care, his nurses, and all of his many friends for all their love and support over the years.
