Timothy Cole, age 65, of Burnsville, NC, passed away in his sleep at 2:07 p.m. on Saturday, January 18, 2025 at his home. A native of Bee Log, he was a son of the late Troy Cole and the late Betty Sue Garland. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Brenda Young; an infant brother, Danny Cole; and a sister-in-law, Gail Cole.
Timothy loved interacting with people and was the type of person to always put a smile on anyone’s face. Watching old westerns was one of his favorite past times. Some of his favorite things were spending time with family and when his daughter Jenny and her husband Tyler were at home for visits.
Surviving is his loving wife of 37 years, Alice Faye Cole; daughter, Jenny Clawson and her husband, Tyler; their soon to be child, Simon Thomas Clawson all of Smithfield; daughter, Amanda Dawn Cole of Leicester; son, Josh Roscoe Cole and wife; their children: Nathan, Chloe, Jocelyn, and Andrew all of Weaverville; sister, Donna Cole of Burnsville; brother, Johnny Cole of Bee Log; half-brother, Scotty Cole and his wife, Shelly of Burnsville; half-brother, Daniel Cole of Spruce Pine; half-sister, Miranda Bean and her husband, Kevin of Burnsville; and half-brother, Michael Garland of Asheville. Several other extended family members also survive.
A memorial service will be scheduled and announced at a later date.
