Patricia McFalls, age 65, of the Burnsville Community, went Home to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 24, 2025 at the Yancey House. Patricia was a daughter of the late Glenn and Jean Hollifield Waldroupe, she was also preceded in death by a sister, Mary Kathrine Cade and a brother, Donny Sanner.
Patricia was a very talented woman who loved to crochet and knit for her family. She also loved to read books and loved Dolly Parton, her favorite songs were “Islands in the Stream” and “Jolene.” Patricia loved her family, especially her grandkids. She would bragged on them all the time at the Yancy House to everyone, she loved them very much and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Surviving is her daughter, Kathleen (Johnnie) Harrup of Burnsville, NC; son, Billy Joe McFalls of North Wilkesboro, NC; grandkids: Luke Sky Harrup and Steven Kalel Harrup; sisters: Linda Bingham, Glenda Mort, Jody Eagleman, Suedawn Fabur and Sandy Moss; brother, James Sonny Waldroupe.
