From the Yancey County Sheriff’s Department: There is a gas leak at Burnsville Elementary School. Children have been relocated to Shoal Creek Baptist Church for parent/guardian pick up. Everyone is safe and we ask parents to please be patient as parents are lining up to get their children. Please use caution in these areas.
