The Bakersville Beautification Association (BBA) cordially invites all community members, visitors, and stakeholders interested in shaping the future of Bakersville to attend an exciting event at the former Bowman Middle School on Wednesday, May 28, at 6 pm.

The event will feature a locally cooked barbeque dinner, special live music, and a unique opportunity to connect with the Design Assistance Team (DAT) responsible for leading the “Recover, Rebuild, Renew Bakersville” initiative. This community-focused project will help the to create a collective vision for Bakersville’s near and long-term future to recover from our recent adversity, rebuild landscapes and buildings, and foster economic growth and community engagement.

Taking place from May 28-30, the study period offers an excellent chance for everyone to share their ideas and discuss the town’s future direction with DAT members. The Bakersville public library will serve as the team’s headquarters during this time, providing an accessible hub for continued community engagement.

All are welcome and encouraged to attend the May 28 event and support Bakersville’s revitalization. Come and enjoy the food, music, and conversation, and contribute to the development of Bakersville’s bright future.
