Mary Buchanan Jones, age 70, of Fisher Road in Spruce Pine, passed away Monday, May 12, 2025 at the Greens of Spruce Pine.
Born on October 2, 1954 in Mitchell County, she was the daughter of the late Zeb and Texie Willis Buchanan. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, John Jones.
Mary was a member of the Fairview Baptist Church. She was retired from Ethan Allen Furniture of Spruce Pine. She enjoyed watching TV and particularly enjoyed watching the Reba McEntire Show. She also enjoyed working word search books and was an avid NASCAR racing fan.
Left to cherish her memories is her niece; Bobbie Jo Laws and husband, Jerry of Burnsville, her great niece; Abby Laws of Burnsville and many other cousins, nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be Saturday, May 17, 2025 at 2:00 pm at Fairview Baptist Church Cemetery on Bent Road in Spruce Pine with the Rev. Brian Griffith officiating. Interment will be in the Fairview Baptist Church Cemetery on Bent Road.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to Webb Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.
