In accordance with the North Carolina Memorandum of Agreement (NC MOA), which governs the allocation, use, and reporting of the opioid settlement funds in North Carolina, Yancey County Government will host the annual opioid settlement meeting on June 30, 2025.
The purpose of this meeting is to foster ongoing collaboration, gather input from community leaders regarding the needs of those effected by the opioid crisis, and the expenditure of opioid settlement funds. Executive leaders, frontline workers, and all interested stakeholders are encouraged to attend, and the public is invited to attend. No funding decisions from this years RFP will be announced at this meeting.
This meeting will be held on Monday, June 30th, 2024 at 11:00AM-12:00PM in the Yancey County Commissioners Board Room located at 110 Town Square, Burnsville, NC 28714.
