
Mitchell County Schools has adopted a new Emergency Remote Learning Plan for the 25-26 school year! With this new plan, all K–13 students will now take their devices home in the event of school closures due to weather, emergencies, or other events. The full Remote Learning Plan can be found on the Mitchell County Schools’ website under Departments > Technology.
To support this initiative, a non-refundable $20 User Fee will now apply to ALL students in grades K–13 beginning this school year.
This fee covers one accidental incident per year
K-8 devices will NOT be sent home daily but only in preparation for remote learning instruction
9-13 devices will continue to go home on a daily basis as usual

A limited number of hotspots are available for those needing assistance with connectivity
