The August 12 meeting of Mountain Piecemaker Quilt Guild will be held at 6:00 in the Burnsville Town Center. One of our members, Wendy Calkins, will be presenting a trunk show of her quilts. Wendy is the fundraising chair for the guild as well as the librarian. She is a very talented quilter and has a variety of interests in quilting styles.

The funds are used to support our community projects, Linus quilts for children in need and Hero Quilts for veterans of Madison, Mitchell and Yancey counties.
