The Mitchell County Historical Society is pleased to present a captivating and entertaining evening with master storyteller and local author, Allen Cook, as our September program. As a native and lifelong resident of Mitchell County, Allen carries on his mother’s passion for local history through his writing and masterful storytelling.
Drawing from local history, Allen weaves tales that bring the past to life in a way that both newcomers and long-time residents will appreciate. While some may recall fragments of these events, Allen will weave them together into new cloth, offering fresh perspectives and memorable accounts of our shared heritage.
