The North Carolina Division of Motor Vehicles is hiring 40 new driver’s license examiners in an effort to cut down on long lines and wait times at offices across the state, the N.C. Department of Transportation announced Tuesday.
The move follows growing public frustration with DMV services and a recent report highlighting challenges faced by both customers and employees.
