Madison High Employee Arrested for Indecent Liberties

An employee at Madison County High School has been arrested and charged with indecent liberties with a student. According to a news release from the Madison County Sheriff’s Office, David Edmonds, a staff member at the high school, was taken into custody on October  6 and charged with indecent liberties with a student. His bond was set at $20,000 secured.

The arrest followed an investigation that began by the sheriff’s department on September  26 at the request of Madison County High School. Edmonds was suspended from his position the same day, according to a statement from Madison County Schools Superintendent Will Hoffman.
