Raymond Tommy Biddix, age 84, of Feldspar Street in Spruce Pine, passed away Friday, November 28, 2025 at Blue Ridge Regional Hospital.
Born on March 20, 1941 in Mitchell County, he was the son of the late Adam Gird Biddix and the late Martha Stamey Biddix. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his ex-wife, Doris Jill Biddix. He was also preceded in death by his brothers; Robert Pitman, Lewis Pitman, Hubert Biddix and Hobart Biddix, and his sisters; Joyce Carpenter, Lois McKinney and Iris Sparks.
Tommy loved fishing and working in his flowers. He enjoyed traveling around town, visiting and talking with his friends and sightseeing on the Blue Ridge Parkway.
Left to cherish his memories are his wife; Linda McKinley of Spruce Pine and his son; Dewayne Biddix of Spruce Pine, several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service for Tommy Biddix will be on Saturday, December 13, 2025 at 2:00 pm at Berry Chapel Baptist Church with the Rev. Nathan Silver officiating.
