A scheduled power outage is planned for the Prices Creek area in Yancey County on Sunday, December 7th from 2 to 5 pm. Our crews are moving a three phase feeder that requires this circuit to be de-energized while they move the line.
The power will be out for everyone who lives along Prices Creek, Indian Creek, Blankenship Creek, and Horton creek road. We apologize ahead of time for the inconvenience this may cause. This outage would be canceled if the weather changes or we have unexpected outages that need to be addressed during that time.
