Blue Ridge Regional Hospital Invests $7,500 in Mitchell County’s Future

Blue Ridge Regional Hospital (BRRH) has announced a significant investment in the prosperity of Mitchell County, presenting a check for $7,500 to the Mitchell County Development Foundation (MCDF).

The donation underscores the hospital’s commitment to improving not just the clinical health, but also the overall economic and cultural vitality of the mountain community it serves.

“In our role as the hometown hospital for Mitchell County, we recognize that true community health extends beyond our clinical walls,” said Dr. Tonia W. Hale, CEO/CNO, Blue Ridge Regional Hospital. “The Mitchell County Development Foundation plays a critical role in strengthening the foundation of our local area. By supporting MCDF, we are investing directly in the future of the place our patients, staff and neighbors call home.”

The Mitchell County Development Foundation was established in June of 2001 with the mission of establishing economic and cultural assistance in Mitchell County. The organization works to attract new businesses, support local enterprises, and enhance the quality of life for all residents.
