The Mitchell County Chamber of Commerce proudly hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony celebrating the opening of Mountain Top Fitness, a new Chamber member and new business in Spruce Pine. The event welcomed community members, local leaders, family and Chamber representatives to recognize the business and its investment in the local community.
Mountain Top Fitness is owned by Mel and Samantha Tehandon, who are also owners of Mountain Top Tanning. The new fitness facility offers a wide range of classes and equipment designed to serve individuals at all fitness levels. The gym features a dedicated free-weight area, exercise machines, and a variety of cardio equipment including treadmills, ellipticals, bikes, and rowing machines. Mountain Top Fitness also specializes in power lifting equipment, making it a unique and valuable addition to the local fitness scene.
Mountain Top Fitness is located at 6333 Highway 19E, Spruce Pine, NC.
Special remarks during the ribbon-cutting ceremony were shared by Beth Holmes, Mayor of Spruce Pine, and Patti Jensen, Director of Operations for the Mitchell County Chamber of Commerce, both of whom congratulated the Tehandons and expressed appreciation for their commitment to serving the community.
