One person died following a UTV crash during this weekend’s winter storm in Marshall, according to the Madison County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies say first responders were called to the Buckeye Ridge area at approximately 10:14 a.m. Saturday, January 31st, after a UTV went over an embankment. When officers arrived, they found 76-year-old Hugh Blomeke suffering from severe traumatic injuries. Despite life-saving efforts, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
