Charles Lee Trivette, 73, passed away on March 17, 2026 at Watauga Medical Center in NC.
He was born on May 5, 1952 in Avery County, NC to the late Roger Lee and LIlly Vance Trivette.
He worked in construction all his adult life, most recently for GEM Construction as a Welder and Pipe Fitter. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle. He loved fishing and hunting with his son, and going out on the boat and spending time with his granddaughter.
He will be missed by all who knew him. Charles was a gentle soul with a big heart of gold. He believed in God, family and always doing the right thing.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Sylvia Trivette Hubble.
Charles will one day be reunited in heaven with his family left here, including wife of 46 years Brenda Hughes Trivette; son, Shaun Trivette; one granddaughter, Myla; brother, Bill (Lisa) Trivette; several nieces and nephews and cousins; as well as his two little doggie buddies, Truffie and Tid-Bit.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 till 12:00 on Tuesday, March 24, 2026 in the chapel of Webb Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 12:00 noon with Rev. Trace Carpenter officiating. Interment will follow in the Daniels Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: Dalton Taylor, Casey Hughes, Lee Clark, Kenneth Dellinger, Doug Hughes, Brandon Hollifield and Ronnie Bentley.
The care of Charles and his family has been entrusted to Webb Funeral Home in Spruce Pine.
