The Mountain Piecemakers Quilt Guild will meet Tuesday April 14th with social time at 6pm and business at 6:30 pm followed by the program. Our speaker will be Barbara Miller, who will present a trunk show of her quilts. Visitors are welcome. We meet in the Burnsville Town Center at 6 South Main Street, Burnsville. Our members come from Madison, Mitchell and Yancey counties. Basic skills classes are held on the 4th Tuesday afternoons using Quilt Academy 1 material for members who are beginning quilters. At the 4th Tuesday Sew Day members gather to sew their own projects and make Linus quilts. A sew along together using Scrappy Triangles book by Leila Gardunia will be a year long project. New members and visitors are welcome to join us Tuesday April 14th at 6pm in the Town Center.
