Break-In, Robbery at Bubba’s Good Eats Restaurant

Bubba’s Good Eats Restaurant was broken into on Sunday night, May 13th. According to Bubba’s money was stolen from the business but more upsetting to them than that was that money was also stolen from the Feed-A-Child fund. Marion Woman Busted for Drugs in Ohio

Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers have filed felony drug charges against a Marion, North Carolina woman after a traffic stop in Guernsey County.  A Patrol drug-sniffing canine alerted to the vehicle. A probable cause search revealed 110 pounds of heroin and methamphetamine valued at approximately $3,7 million. Re-Paving of Sections of the Blue Ridge Parkway

Going for a drive on the Blue Ridge Parkway may not be quite as relaxing as you were hoping this summer. According to the National Park Service over 65 miles will be resurfaced as part of a pavement preservation program on the Blue Ridge Parkway. Yancey County Drug Arrest

Two Yancey County Residents have been arrested on drug charges. On May 7th, a search warrant was executed at a residence on Cane Branch Rd as part of ongoing investigations into drug activity by the Sheriff’s Office.
