Part of The Great Smoky Mountains National Park To Reopen May 9th

The Great Smoky Mountains National Park will reopen some popular roads and trails on Saturday, May 9th. Mitchell Animal Rescue Received Grant for Adoption Program

Mitchell County Animal Rescue (MCAR) of Spruce Pine has announced it has been awarded a $6,500 grant from the Petco Foundation to support its Adoption Readiness program and Free Publicly Owned Pets Spay and Neuter program, through its Community Cares Spay and Neuter Fund.
