Toe River Health District Announces More Confirmed COVID-19 Cases in Avery & Yancey Counties

Toe River Health District, Yancey, Mitchell and Avery Counties, were notified today (Friday, August 7th), about the following positive cases in our district. Avery County had 1 new positive today which puts them at 107 positive cases, 81 have recovered and 26 active. Bigfoot Festival Still On for September in Marion

(FESTIVAL CANCELLED) Bigfoot so far has not fallen victim to the coronavirus. Plans for the September 18th and 19th Bigfoot Festival in Marion are continuing.
